all of these events are traditionally seen as educational opportunites,
however we vew them as the perfect chance to educate the public on the
wonderful world of rats!
Do
you know of an event in your area that would be a good opportunity to
educate the public about pet rats? If you have an idea for a
get-together or know of an event where we could set up a table with

5th Annual NIRO Spring Fancy Rat ShowValparaiso, IN

NIRO is
holding our 5th Annual Spring Fancy Rat Show in Valparaiso, IN.
Educational materials will be present along with several breeders,
exhibitors, vendors, and rat rescues. We will conduct a large raffle
and silent auction as well as conformation judging all day long.
Open to the rat-loving public.

Paducah, KY Jennifer Ward will be representing NIRO at this event.
Educational materials will be presented along
with proper cage and bedding display and perhaps a couple of rat
ambassadors! Be sure to stop by and say Hi!

Grand Rapids, MI Educational materials will be present for those in attendance at this show.

Valparaiso, IN Melina will be representing NIRO at this event.
We will be offering educational materials
to the public on the merits of rats as companion pets. We will not be
bringing rats to this event out of safety concerns. Stop by and say Hi!

A judging seminar is being planned for this event.

Chicago, IL Melina will be representing NIRO at this event. Possibly with rats in costume!

event unites pet lovers to enjoy the world-famous Pet Parade. Lots of
